If you’re in a location that is not convenient to the Phoenix/Scottsdale area, no worries! Most of our coaching is done by telephone. Here are some of the reasons:

1. Telephone coaching is more efficient and often more successful. This is due to the fact that the odds of finding a coach who specializes in exactly what you are looking for may be quite low within a reasonable travel distance. In many states, there are no coaches certified by the Stepfamily Foundation, and in Arizona, we are the only ones! Research indicates that clients who find the ideally suited coach for them accomplish their desired results almost every time. 
2. Telephone coaching is more efficient, as it involves no travel and can be fit into a busy schedule much more easily than can face-to-face meetings.
3. Telephone coaching is much less costly than face-to-face coaching. You will not have to pay for the travel expenses for your coach or yourself, and you will not spend your time traveling. With today’s gasoline prices, this can be a significant factor!
4. Telephone coaching is convenient and relaxing. You will be able to have your coaching session in the privacy of your home in your most comfy chair if you like, as well as to keep your appointment when you are travelling. You should select a quiet, private space in which to hold your coaching session.
5. Telephone coaching is confidential. As long as you select a private and secure place in which to be during coaching, we will assure you of complete confidentiality. No one will know who you are talking to, or what you are talking about.

Our telephone coaching sessions are 55 minutes in length. We have found that most people are more attentive and engaged when phone sessions last no more than one hour in length. You will be provided with homework and with CDs to listen to, which tremendously increase the impact of the work that we do.

The homework and CDs may be shared with other members of your family system (some of the homework requires their participation!). We want our work to impact your entire family in a very positive way.
